Tuition Definition

Tuition is what all out-of-state students must pay to attend UT. Maintenance fees are the in-state portion of tuition.

Full-Time Students

Students enrolled in at least 9 semester hours during the Fall/Spring semesters or 6 hours in the Summer term are considered full-time students.

Part-Time Students

Part-time students may elect to pay fees computed by the semester credit hour. Fees below are based on one 3 hour class.

*An additional course fee of $64 per semester hours is assessed to ALL engineering courses. All fees are subject to changes approved by the Board of Trustess prior to the beginning of the term

 

Payment of Fees

Payment is due by registration deadline. The University of Tennessee Space Institute accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit/debit cards. Credit card payments must be paid online.
