Graduate Certificate Program

The Industrial and Systems Engineering Department offers a graduate certificate in engineering management. The program is designed for professionals who work in an engineering organization and are interested in improving their technical management skills and knowledge. The program consists of four graduate courses that are available through distance education.

The 12-hour graduate certificate is earned by completing ENMG 533 , ENMG 534 , ENMG 536 , and ENMG 539 with a grade of B or better. The hours may be utilized toward a graduate degree later if the student meets all other degree requirements.

A candidate for a graduate certificate program must be a fully admitted graduate student who has satisfactorily completed (minimum 3.0 grade point average) the minimum requirements for a certificate as described in the Graduate Catalog at A candidate must be a graduate student in good standing and comply with all other applicable policies. To receive the certificate, students must submit a Completion of Certificate Program Form endorsed by the academic department to the Graduate School. Only those certificate programs that are officially approved by the Graduate Council will be posted on student transcripts.
