Student Eric Jacob Earns AIAA Award
The University of Tennessee Space Institute is proud to announce the recent accomplishment of Eric Jacob, a resident graduate student pursuing his doctoral degree in aerospace engineering at UTSI. Jacob recently won the Gordon C. Oates Air Breathing Propulsion Graduate Award, an American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) award and scholarship. Jacob is seen above receiving his award at the AIAA Joint Propulsion Conference held in Hartford, Connecticut in late July. Jacob gives credit to UTSI Professors Gary Flandro, Ahmad Vakili, and Trevor Moeller for their aid and support.
