UTSI Hires Former UCF Budget Director
UTSI Executive Director, Buddy Moore, is pleased to announce that Randy Foster has joined the Space Institute as the next Budget Director.
“We are delighted to have Randy join the Institute as a member of the Executive Staff,” commented Moore. “Randy is a bright and capable financial leader who will ensure that UTSI continues to be managed in an efficient manner.”
Foster brings with him, from the University of Central Florida, 27 years of experience in higher education finance and accounting. His most recent position was as the Associate Director of University Budgets, which he has held since 2009. In this position, Foster was responsible for the development, submission, and management of the universities operating budget, including legislative requests, expenditure analysis filings, and detail payroll filing with the Board of Governors. Other positions he held with UCF include Senior Accountant, Accounting Coordinator, and Associate Controller for Contracts and Grants. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
Foster has been an active participant in the Central Florida Council Boy Scouts of America and since 1998 he has served as a team captain with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. He and his wife, Helen, have relocated to Manchester from their home in Orlando, Florida.
