TULLAHOMA, TN – The Employee Relations Committee, (ERC) at the University of Tennessee Space Institute, (UTSI) supported three charity drives this holiday season. Collectively, they donated 283 non-perishable food items to the Good Samaritan in Franklin County, pet supplies which included food, treats, toys and collars to the Tullahoma Animal Shelter, and toys for kids ages newborn to fourteen to the Tullahoma Fire Department for their annual holiday toy drive. The faculty, staff, and students at URSI always look forward to giving back to our community this way every year and appreciate all the hard work that goes into making these drives to be a successful way to support those in need through the holiday season. Members of the ERC this year were, Patricia Burks-Jelks, Doug Warnberg, Courtney Maricle-Frazier, Nick VanZandbergen, Meghan Morris, Tamera Thompson, and Kate Stamper. Each member represents different departments of the university to ensure needs are met for everyone.
