The University of Tennessee Space Institute’s Student Government Association partnered with the UTSI cafeteria to pull off a very successful Halloween party on Wednesday. The event included a huge Halloween-themed buffet, as well as a pumpkin carving contest and a costume contest. The winners are shown above, left to right: Pumpkin Contest Winner Cortney Thomas, daughter of UTSI’s Business Manager for the Cafeteria and the Center for Laser Applications Carole Thomas, UTSI resident students Matt Duran (Most Original Costume) and Lutz Blaette (Scariest Costume), and UTSI Human Resources Administrative Support Assistant Courtney Maricle (Funniest Costume). Cortney Thomas is a resident of Tullahoma and Franklin County, and Courtney Maricle is a resident of Fayetteville.
