UTSI is a unique, collaborative educational institution with several diverse research areas. Faculty-student teams of aerospace engineers, mathematicians, mechanical engineers, physicists, electrical engineers, and metallurgists perform problem-oriented, multidisciplinary research impacting our community, state, and nation.

We have active programs in aerospace engineering, materials and propulsion, mechanical engineering, physics, aviation systems, engineering management, and a variety of other activities.
